Stone Branch, build it, they will come.

I have set Rip up with 4 trails so far. The first one he showed aptitude, the second one we made it to the end without much attention to the process. The last two I ditched the kibble and gave him a liberal blood trail with tasty raw venison at the end. He did real well on those. I posted some video clips on facebook.

I was running late today and headed up at 8:00am, was set up around quarter after, working 2 birds down below, and one out in front of me. The two below came in from above, behind me. With two big toms storming in at 6 yards away, I shot and missed. If there is a more pitiful turkey hunter than I, I haven't met him/her yet.

At least you got a good show, that’s the fun part.

Now G, you can’t make me believe that you are “pitiful” at anything.

My habitat work is making box turtles happy, I found 4 of these yesterday in a 100 yard stretch of trail.

I found one of these yesterday, or I should say that my dogs found one of these yesterday, passing through our camp.

Property is looking great. Crazy how many trees you have been able to kill. Tons and tons of work

RIP Tank

Thanks gut pile, while reminiscing Tank puppy pictures this morning I also reminisced what my current pretty woodland pictures looked like in 2018.

Sorry George. Those pups sure have a sneaky way of getting into our hearts. Our lab, Louie, is still doing fine, but I’m beginning to see the toll it takes on him, being a big dog. I’m not looking forward to the day we have to say goodbye.

Thanks KSQ2.

The previous cut and burn pictures were last years, not this year's burn. Most of the ground cover are blueberries.
