I know most of y'all are already using Rootmaker trays and pots, but if you aren't, you should be.

This is what I like to see! That's Marianna GF8-1 (Plum) rootstock grown for one season in a 1 gallon rootmaker injection molded pot. When I planted it, it was a piece of cutting with a couple of tiny side roots. Love these pots.

Couldn't agree more. I start all my seeds in an 18 tray then move up to the pots. Makes one heck of a root ball.

I do the same. Just moved 1 yr old chestnuts to 1 gallon pots and replanted the 18s with new chestnut seeds.
