Robots??

This might be a dumb question but what does robots mean. If you look at who I’d on the forum it will say members guest robots.... don’t make fun lol just don’t know what that means

I'm not a "computer guy" by any means....but I think they are a type of software application that essentially trolls the internet for various reasons. They are not actually people.... I am not sure if they are harmful or dangerous or not. I'll worry when they show up at my house! I read somewhere that these "bots" make up over 1/2 the internet traffic.

One of the bots is usually the Google search engine going through and catalogueing the website so it can be found on the search engine. I bet Tapatalk has a bot in their doing the same thing.

You could never be replaced Native, only supplemented to ease the pressure of those mental wheels constantly grinding.

As for the bots, if you watch any page load on the internet and the gibberish going across the bottom of screen, those are hundreds if not thousands of bots reading your info as you download and click on anything from ads to pictures to googles to purchases. How do you think social media or browsers suddenly show something similar to that which you showed interest in previously. Even your tv is listening if its connected to the internet. I bought tires yesterday and as of now thanks to the info freely given to me on everything I opened today I know more than a human should know about every tire manufacturer in the world. Remember, YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
