Peach trees

I have 2 peach trees in my yard a freestone that ripens in August with large peaches and a clingstone variety that are just now ripening. Every morning I have 2 does and 3 fawns come into my yard just after daybreak and sample my grape leaves before heading right to the peach tree where they each eat their fill. The single fawn was born under one of my apple trees in mid May this year.

I saw a scrape under one of my pear trees so I put a cam on it. I had 3 young bucks, many does, a grey fox, possum, coon, and a coyote. All were eating pears and the bucks worked the scrape.

Today I put a cam on a place where persimmons and chestnuts were falling at the same spot.

I also put a cam on an Overcup oak today to see if deer still ate them in a year with abundant white oak mast. They ate the overcups well last year when white oak mast was scarce.
