The perks of having a little excavation company. This road on top picture was a tight thruway. We’re opening up the roads to move equipment from fields to feild. Our clover is probably the nicest it’s been in years, the small trails I’m leaving alone as I like the looks and feel of how they are.

That’s fancy looking! Do you have grade control, or are you one of those old school guys that still has the eye for grading?

We have a topcon laser for reference on big jobs but this was just seat of pants grading. Was using the tree shear on the excavator on some areas of the roads but the dozer is so much faster. As I do feathered edging around the fields Ill post those pictures of that and we are going to try and make more thick areas with the tree shear for some standing timber improvement and bedding areas. This work stuff is cramping my style between racing and getting things done and the cabin. LOL

After spraying this spring for the weeds and then planting buckwheat, we started crimping and drilling our fall blend today. I would liked to have done this a little earlier but schedule didn’t allow for it. Hopefully it turns out ok. Looks like rain tonight and then Monday.

The crimp rolling and drilling of the fall blended mix has been a huge success. Cooler weather has really got it going

What blade do you have on your dozer?

Had a bear try and take up stay at the cabin. Luckily minimal damage. Crabapples and apples are doing well. With the rain we started to get I mowed the spring planting and will be planting fall stuff soon if rain keeps up. I even weed whacked my little honey hole plot by hand since it was just as easy to do that.

Well even though I have had several bloopers I never get pictures to share along with the adventures. Going back to plant a small bow hunting plot I made it passed this tree but coming back out I just could not get around it. Got almost all of my planting done before the rain came today. Hopefully finish it up in the next few days Was happy to get to spend some time at camp during our down time between races
