Thank you for that info! It’s a much different map than the ones I have seen. According to that though, over here on the eastern side of the state we just make it still. Who knows though, I ordered 2 trees from the Native Nursery people but would love to find some acorns

I have some Sawtooth I'd like to trade for some native Persimmon seeds preferably from zone 7.

Does anyone want any sawtooth oak acorns? I picked up quite a few last year and I am not going to use most of them. These are large acorns and some have started to produce a small radicle. I planted four that had started to sprout less than a month ago. All of them are between 7-8 inches in height. If you thought about growing some sawtooths this year, let me know. Approximately 100 acorns will fit in a small flat rate priority mail box.
