What Mennoniteman projects will change things every where. The rate of people moving to this area to live full time has accelerated over the last 15 years or so already. The ability to work from anywhere will likely add to the amount of new people coming in. Hopefully some of the newcomers will be in the construction business. Right now builders are behind by about 1.5 years, meaning that is the wait time to get a project started (if they show up). It would seem to be a pretty good assumption that this will occur throughout the country. As it does real estate values will rise, taxes will go up and area makeup and character will change.
And definitely even here out in the country, no handguns can be kept in your house if you don't have a permit.

My brother wanted to bring his heavy barreled 10/22 to our place to shoot on our 300yd range (he’s wanting to practice doping wind)(he lives in the mid-west). I told him his 10/22 was an assault rifle under NY law because he’d put the action in a thumb hole stock. He said no legislature could possibly be that stupid. I sent him a copy of the statute.
