Mowing after clethodium application.

Hello, I sprayed clethodium 2 weeks ago. I am starting to show a Little browning of the grass in the plot but not down at the bottom of the plants yet only.at the top and leaves


I need to mow the plot but my question is, will mowing reduce the effectiveness of the clethodium by leaving the green part of the grass.

They are dead, just on life support. I would have no problem mowing now. It's already translocated to the roots.
