Given our lack of rain, and hypothetically speaking say the rain returns in the next week or two, is it too late to plant anything besides winter rye and wheat? I’m in sw va and was hoping to get some clover down
If it isn't too big of a cost, I'd go for it. Some dollars lost on a failed plot beats waiting a year to save some cash for a sure thing. Clover is a weed seed anyway.

Good point. Currently, the weatherman and or women is lying with rain forecasted this weekend so I’ll be spreading seeds on Monday. I have one last kayak trip planned for Saturday and would cancel it to seed but I don’t have confidence in the forecast.
