How do you handle cuts with too many downed logs?

Fire seems to work well to clean up old hinge cuts...then you just hinge new ones.

Fire seems to work well to clean up old hinge cuts...then you just hinge new ones.

I like fire. But a word of warning about fires. It cost me $400 when a burn project relit when I wasn't there and someone called the fire co. Even though it never got off my land, was continuing to do what I wanted to do, and was never closer than two hundred yards to my property line, it was still classified an uncontrolled wildfire because I wasn't there. People are paranoid about burning nowadays.
