Youth season is just a few weeks away. Pears and most apples have dropped by now, but Yates is holding strong. Would be in my top 10 for a wildlife apple tree.

Not a farm picture but two Dunstan seedling I started planted out about 5 years ago. One completely finished on the year, pics not great but the other still hanging on to a few chestnuts and a few green burs still on the tree here in Nov

Arkansas black and black limbertwig are still holding onto a few apples. We're ready for the youth hunt not sure if we're shooting deer with a camera or a slug just playing it by ear.

Man all of my trees down in the River Valley got hit by the late freeze in the spring and I had very little fruit this year! Other than Yates, what other trees are holding late for you?

Started trying to reclaim a sweat gum forest for a bit today. I've hunted pretty hard and seen 3 does. Let my food plots go gonna have to get back on top of it.

Planted a mix of white and red oaks, gonna come back later and tube them then hack and spray the swear gums or at least that's my plan.

Got a few pears and Chinese chinquapin in from the wildlife group yesterday. Boys helped me plant though they say they've been hunting everything from deer and snakes to the elusive wild chicken.

Chucks making splits today. Only lost 1 hive over winter, the rest look very strong.
I've the easier task grafting apple trees.
We've also been clearing up another old pasture to use as a new bee yard.
It has a year round creek so no water issues.
Threw in a picture of the hillside daffodils because who doesn't appreciate a nice daffodil?
