We only dream of diakon radishes of that size in Pennsylvania. And our February plots are snow covered, with the deer digging through the snow to get at some of the remaining clover from our fall plots. Nice presentation.
I've been running a thread on another site for several years called " A year in the Life of a Farm" that is similar to the property tour threads on this site. On it I have covered everything we do here on the farm from deer nutrition, no till food plant strategies, bees and honey, timber mgt. , organic gardening, herb gardening, pollinator gardening, enriching soil...and the list goes on. I decided this year to make it more interesting by creating a youtube channel and communicating via video. Just started but its been a fun learning experience for this gof. The channel is called " farm and ranch life" and I intend to include the Mexican Ranch experience as well.

It won't take long to dispel any illusion of professionalism here and the sponsor list will have to be watching the J.D. drive by.I'm working on Final Cut Pro X tonight and am struggling mightily. Editing is the hardest part of this deal. Beyond that just a redneck unencumbered with the scientific method having fun growing stuff on the farm and taking a little video of it.

Awesome video and your modesty is rare in this day. I have planted the Daikon of various names for several years with my other brassica and the soil tx they do is amazing. The only complaint I have now, is the deer eat them as they grow, not allowing tubor developement any more. I can't plant the acreage of you but the deer def love the stuff like candy. Yes they can take some frost but a heavy freeze kills them. I don't know how cold it has to be to kill them all. Last winter we had some temps in the 20's and a bunch of mine died . However some survived.
This year we have had some freezes but nothing below the high 20's and nothing dead.
