East Texas Weed ID?

My friend from East Texas sent me this asking if I knew what it was, figured I’d ask the experts here?

I'm sure what kind of weed it is, but it's the spittin image of Charlie Brown's Christmas tree!

That's Dog Fennel, more commonly called cypress weed. My 76 year old neighbor who lives by my property in SW Mississippi calls it "yankee weed."

Yep, Dog Fennel. I had a bunch of it in one of my plots. Nuked it, then mowed it, but it will be back next year.
