Chestnuts and white oak family all doing well. I love the chestnuts and English oaks, but by far my favorite to watch grow has been the swamp chestnut oaks. They burst open in a manner that shows the full potential of all these little nuts. Both columnar English oaks sprouted. The burs have been the worst, but I have a nearly unlimited supply of them and chinkapin from a local park. Only the ones that I didn't expect to sprout; haven't. I roughly handled one of the chinkapin that I was over wintering in the garage. I'm calling it 100%.

Bought white clover, ground hog radish, turnips, and power plant this weekend. Persimmons and white pine ordered. Plan to frost seed the clover in the walnuts this weekend.

I took the boy to the Dugout this weekend. We had a great time shed hunting, scouting for turkeys, planting trees, clearing plots, catching a few bluegills and making memories.

My tallest chestnut seedling is over 2 ft now. All chestnuts and oaks putting on a new flush of growth.

It's a vinyl composite, but it is a good product.
