Last year I mentioned on this forum that I was having a custom smokeless ML built. I finally got the gun and tried it out today. Several of you asked me to let you know how it turned out.

I went smokeless 5-6 years ago after 40 years of shooting black powder. I'll never go back.
I had a TC Encore receiver so I bought a TC Encore factory 45-70 barrel and had the chamber threaded for a Savage smokeless breach plug. Shoots great.

That's a great way to get into smokeless economically.
