Compound Leaf Plant

Anybody know what this is? It looks like partridge pea from a distance but that's not what it is. Much taller and bigger plant overall. Deer are eating it.

Sure looks like partridge pea to me. There are different varieties of partridge pea. I have some in my CRP that will get over 4 ft tall.

I hope it is then. I have partridge pea growing in the area but it's a smaller plant. I'll keep an eye on this and see if it blooms. It's right in front of our beehives.

The folks that sold me my CRP blend put the wrong type of partridge pea in the mix. The kind I have is very aggressive growing and tall. It's choking out my bluestem. Reseeds like crazy.

The more pictures I look at, that has to be partridge pea, just a larger variety than I've seen up there before. Maybe the soil is just better.
