Here is a box stand i build a couple years ago. I will try and find the plans and post a link. I didn't really follow them per say but built off the plans to fit what i wanted.

What is the roof made of? Is that metal of the plastic like stuff?

Plastic roof stuff from lowes. I used it to cut down on the noise when it's hunting and I'm in the box hunting.

Can you bow hunt out of it? I'd like to build a blind I can now hunt from and take my son.

I crossbow hunt out of it. To bow hunt you would just needs to cut the windows differently.
