Figured I'd show another box blind build. Give more options for anyone looking to build one.
I wanted a bow friendly blind so I elected to go with tall narrow windows and cut the front corners of the blind for more visibility and shot angles.

If I built another one tomorrow, I would have framed the floor square and then just built the walls with the corners cut. Having the floor frame square would have kept the elevator brackets on the correct angles for the legs to be angled correctly.
You can't tell in the picture, but I used rubber roofing so that I didn't need to angle the roof for water runoff.
The next pic shows how I made the deck. I stole this idea from the shadowhunter or one of those commercial blinds.

But basically, its 3 2x4s that are joist hangered to the floor joist with a 3 ft cantilever. I was skeptical of this at first, but it feels plenty strong and I love having the deck to stand on to enter the blind.
And just a pic of the ladder. Its screwed to the deck as well which added a lot of stability to the ladder.
