Bowhunter's upstate New York property tour

It’s been a while since I’ve been on and updated how my hunting season has gone so far.

I did end up finally taking a plunge on a hunting blind and I went with the Grizzly Coolers blind. Super impressed with this blind so far. Haven’t found anything about it that I dislike.

Here is the base that I built for it.

It’s resting place for the hunting season.

I ended up getting a crack at my main target buck on November 11th and I got him from the new blind. Felt really good to put a tag on a buck that I had passed up the previous two seasons.

Impressive how your patience paid off.

Darken the back windows by hanging blackout curtains.I found the only way I could get the velcro to stick to the curtains or blind was to use silicon for glue. You can glue a small piece of velcro on corner and above window so you fold up and it works good also. Was it easy to find a dealer for those blinds? I haven't seen them around Kansas but they look nice.

Does anyone know what parts that I need in order to switch my planter from corn to soybeans?

This is my planter that I got two years ago from RDH Outdoors and want to plant a few fields of soybeans with it for the first time this spring.

Its a John Deere 7100 Max-Emerge with Plate-less Finger pickup and has the corn meters in it now. Do I just need to put 7100 bean brush meters in it, or do I also need the soybean cups as well?

You only need one or the other, brush meters are more accurate, but if seed cost isn't important to you the bean cups are all you need.

Are these the only two parts that I should need?

I have never used the bean cups, my friend has and my info is from him showing me how they would install on my 7100 planter, so I only know enough to be dangerous. However, I believe that you are correct, those 2 pcs should be all you need.
