I've seen "Thornless Honey Locust" advertised before and considered buying some to replace the thorny one's I have been fighting for so long. If fact I found some at a nearby town recently, great looking trees! I figured finding something that was acceptable to out-compete what I didn't want was a good solution... but (if I remember right) the seeds from the thornless tree's are not necessarily going to produce thornless offspring. This would make them worthless for my particular efforts.
