The first photo set is from the small 20 YO (est) tree on the right. The next set is from the big tree back left.
Still lots left on the trees and still green. They likely will still be on the tree come Nov.
I have never seen a weevil in these acorns. They have have a lot of tannin. I posted before that robur drips tannin. They are spitters to taste for sure. The deer are still on them though. Lots of pellet piles under the trees.
These acorns were produced in a very bad drought and likely the best crop I have seen.
