No, I had been spraying a few maple sprouts that came up in a fence row at the edge. I like the Indian Grass. I only mentioned it because when it bolts, I think it makes the NWSGs look more beautiful and taller.

Got a little update today. Forgot last time to post a picture of shooting lanes. Very necessary.
My longest picker won't reach the top of my tallest pear tree.

I would be okay with either of the two biggest ones. They are both mature. We ML hunted this last weekend and didn’t see either of them. All my pics the last two weeks of them are at night, so now it’s likely going to be near peak rutting before a guy has a chance of getting a shot.

I gained a new 10 point this week. Would like to get some better pics, but looks mature to me at this point.
He looks a lot like this other 10 point, but they are two different deer. You can tell easily by looking at the difference in the right G4.

Here is another new one - a 9 point. He looks 4.5 to me.

Yes, he does have a tail, but I have decided that he is too young to shoot. But, I think the 9 is 4.5 and old enough. Pic below of the 10 with his tail up.

Thanks Ben. So far he has actually been pretty cautious per my camera pictures. If he isn't a roamer he might just make it.
