What type of deer is this?

I just inherited this and am wondering what species of deer this is? Mule Deer? What might it be worth if i were to sell it???

Looks like a very old whitetail mount to me. $15/lb for the antlers. Any history behind it?

Looks like a Whitetail to me. There are areas where Whitetail and Mule deer overlap and some crossbreeding occurs. I think this is true for blacktail deer (subspecies of mule deer) as well.

Whitetail buck because it does not have a series of forks instead of a single main beam. Probably will sell in our part of rural north Florida for $50.
