What is this?

I posted this on the native habitat forum but I suppose this is the better location. It's growing in a low lying area (no water standing but more of a low lying shelf) and is between 8-10 feet tall.

Post some pictures of that when it gets leaves, and I think someone should be able to give you a more certain ID.
