image.jpeg This is not in a plot, or I would just use gly. It's in my yard. Before I use my hockey stick type weed wiper, I would like to know if anyone knows what it is. Y'all did a good job identifying another plant that was in my yard and I was able to find out that dicambi would kill it and now it's gone with no damage to my centipede grass. Try your luck (knowledge ?) on this one. I've searched plant ID sites on the www to no avail. Thanks !

Most likely Annual Bluegrass (Poa annua L.) but it takes more than a picture like that to make a positive ID. However, it is so common, there are many links on this grass, and you can now look some of them up and verify by comparing to your plants.

It's the devil in many golf courses all over the country. Since it is a winter annual I would suspect you would be seeing inflorescence in Texas right now, but I don't really know that for sure.

Quite by accident, I saw a reference to Pl@ntNet on another thread and gave it a shot. They had a picture. It looks like Poa annua L to me also. Image is supposed to kill it, so as soon as the wind settles down I'm gonna give it a try. Thanks for the backup !
