Looks like you are getting no responses. I was hoping another Texan would know for certain. I'm not certain but have a guess based on your location, the leaf features, and the way the deer have hammered the plant.
I think it is Teaweed (one of the Sida species). I did a little research and there are 9 different variations that grow in Texas. My guess is Sida rhombifolia.
This is a first cousin to the plant that the Southern Habitats guy sells as "Sweet Tea." I think the one he sells is Sida Acuta.

After looking at your link, I agree. That's it ! It's all in a corner of my plot and I was surprised to even see it, and more surprised at how it was being browsed. Do you think it came in the IC pea seed ? I've never seen it on my place before. I know for a fact that I've gotten sicklepod in peas and soybeans. It still shows up each year even though I usually hand pull the plants well before they flower. Thanks for your help !

It's hard to say where it came from. It's native to your area, so the seed may have been there and sprang to life due to your work on the IC pea plot.
I killed fescue in an old tobacco patch once and the most beautiful patch of hairy vetch you ever saw came up. I couldn't figure it out until my dad said that my grandfather used to plant it there for a cover crop. It had been 35 years since there was any vetch in that field.
I also saw the thickest stand of passion flower I have ever seen spring to life in another spot when fescue was killed. My family had been using that spot as a hayfield for over 50 years and had never seen one in the field.
Your ground prep for the IC peas may have been what brought the teaweed to life. Great weed to have. Wish I had it here.

Well, it's about to get tested, because that IC pea plot is gonna be my first throw and mow project. I was concerned about how much thatch I was gonna have, but the deer and the pigs have eaten it down considerably in the last 2/3 weeks, so this week I'll be putting in wheat. Thanks for the help guys !
