Video - Dog Hunting for Deer in N Florida

I've hunted the past 10 years in SE NC where dog hunting is still very popular.I understand the tradition behind it & feel that all hunters should stick together. I've also guest hunted with a couple clubs over the years.

The biggest thing that is going to drive it out in IMO, is the loss of contiguous tracts. In my area guys get together & try to run 50/80 ac tracts or 2-300 ac tracts & wonder why the still hunters get pissed off.The large established clubs usually don't have these problems & they are usually running better equipment with highly trained dogs. No the dogs can't read the property lines, but with a gps collar YOU can. And if you are too lazy or cheap to train your dog to return before it hits someone else's land, then yes you deserve to loose your dog hunting.
