That’s a really good size one. Watch it to see when the tree drops fruit, maybe a good source for scions to graft on to smaller native trees...

Thanks guys! I'll try to post the progress of the tree as the summer unfolds. I don't "think" I have any persimmons on my own property, but now I know what to look for. Might have to plant a few as it's a cool tree.

Just keep in mind many are male or female so if your planting them....plant twice as many as you want. You then can later thin the males out. Nice find!
 
Hang a stand in that tree and finish your season before the end of October. A Persimmon tree is what that is or a gold mine for deer action.
