To be named later Montana farm

It would be for upping ag land production in the upper field. The lower field is my low moisture habitat project.

Little bird just got picked off.016578004305584-88-2-09032025081311-HD-SYFW05901.jpeg

On second thought, I think it’s a little bird flying close to the camera.

The farmer who rents my land is a good guy - I think we are going to work together for a long time. He’s been working on the flood irrigation and has it almost up and running:

The county is shutting off the water on 9/15, but we wanted to get some water on the field before that happened. Once the water is shut off and the irrigation canal dries out, John (farmer) is going to get some new pipes put in to fix a leak and make future irrigation more efficient.

After we’ve been flood irrigating for a couple of years hopefully the NRCS will chip in to put in a pivot.

The deer set the camera off in these pictures, but the pheasants got my attention.
