Couple pics of my plots. I'm happy for the first time doing it.

NC, looking good.

Scot44, might try reducing rpm's some on the bush hog and see if that doesn't help with the wind rowing.

Love the seed mix you showed, Cat. I blew up pic to see all the seed but have to ask, what is in the two bottles.? I'm thinking Jack to get you thru all those seeds mixing. Good stuff.

Those are turnip and rape mixes. I grab a bunch of closeout seed at Tractor Supply for next to nothing in the late fall. I just make sure to never grab the one's that are mostly rye, wheat, or oats as they still aren't cheap compared to CO-OP seed.

I bet you were slinging bean seed everywhere using a Husqvarna mower
It's a YardMan. Elcheapo that doesn't even have grease zerts (none anywhere; wheel bearings, spindles, pulleys... not a one on it!). It works but I need something else now that we are in the country. I fear it isn't going to last long.

That's right...it's Native Hunter that has the Husqvarna...

Perhaps a TRACTOR is in order! ;)

I have a husq weed eater that is about to wrap up its 6th year, the last three of which it has been missing the air filter and the cap for it. It gets used every week and every 2-3 weeks it gets used a lot. Sometimes they just won't die lol.

Sounds like the perfect weedeater! I can't keep the damn things running for half that long without having issues.

Here is mine over at home 10 where we have very few rocks in the food plot area and our yard area but plenty on most of the rest of the property. Disked everything up and then seeded with this and then went back over it with deck lower to drag it all in and also used it for mowing over throw n mow where it is sitting. ;) photos from 2014...

Okie, there's no OM in that dirt. Use the throw and mow on that plot as well and build up the OM and it will hold moisture.
