The Massey

Yep, Simeon pr'd with it. He was a little disappointed, he said he left a little too much in the tank still. lol
The meet went ok, the normal kids (not Simeon or Rueben) are still getting into shape, including our daughter, she ran 14 seconds off her pace last year in the 800. It's funny, the Sanchez boys' little brother is a freshman this year, he's never run at all, except at basketball practice. He went and ran a 2:08 split in the 3rd leg of the 4x800 team. They ran a full freshman team and they didn't look half bad. Titus, the little brother, looked like a gazelle out there too, just like his brothers. When I asked him how liked it, he said it was horrible. :D

It is absolutely crazy how much the alfalfa has grown in the last 5 days! We should haying very soon.

On another note, when we pulled into the barnyard to park the baler in the barn, we counted 13 hens, jakes, and toms in the lower barn plot and alfalfa. Dawna might try to get one of them shot in the next few weeks. She’s never tried before, but her brother is begging to take her out.
The bees haven’t take up residence in the swarm trap yet, but we’re almost to prime swarm season. Meanwhile though, ants found the trap and took it over, so we had some cleanup to do. We got a little creative in trying to keep them out of the trap. Every possible roadway got a heavy dose of grease. It seemed to be working great several hours later.

That alfalfa looks fantastic.
Thank you, we’ve tried to do everything right. This variety is really supposed to put on the tonnage. We've had just about the perfect growing environment since it went into the ground last fall too.
