My drone got a little too close to the fire Tuesday night and by the time that I realized that it was in the trees it was too late. It hit a branch and took a fiery crash to the ground. Fortunately, it crashed behind the fire and not in front of it. My search and rescue mission was successful as I was able to track the wreckage down by GPS. The pilot was a bit unraveled and exhausted but fine. I replaced a broken propeller and I received a new rubber gimbal boot yesterday and we're back in the air today. But not as steady as it was before the crash.
