Spike Doe

If you look closely at the deer on the left in this picture that is trying to wind me, you will see a spike doe. She is leading her family group through the NWSGs to a persimmon tree at the edge of the field. I watched these deer for a while before figuring out what I was looking at. Does with antlers are not unheard of but unusual none the less.

Years ago my cousin shot a six point doe with a very nice rack. But antlered does in this area are rare, even more so than an albino.
