I Know this is a long shot but is there such a thing as a somewhat decent producing self fertile apple tree that is disease resistant? I know self fertile apples dont produce a ton but theres an ancient apple on one of our farm building sites thats totally isolated self fertile and produces a fair amount of fairly ugly fist sized apples ha I know I could graft from that tree to another one day if I figured out how but just curious if theres any trees that actually fit that description.
