Seed Viable on Ground no rain?

Any ideas on how long seed can lay on ground without rain. I planted up here this last week as was supposed to be a real soaker like a day later 0% chance and got nothing and another week before next rain. Soil was super dry as like others been drought all summer.

How long can seed survive getting cooked? In low 80s and it is mostly brassica. I did use that deltaag seed coating this year just to try I think that is more beneficial if it germinates and then drought.

Hard seed can last a long time if not predated. If you surface broadcast and cultipacked, I'd just wait and see how things go.
