scion wood collected

OK,I now have collected a large bag of persimmon scion wood,green and springy.Now,how do I handle it to be ready when I need it? Thanks!

Multiple ways.
My way is to dip the ends in melted candle wax and refrigerate in a ziplok. Others dont do the wax and wrap in a moist paper towel and then into a bag into the fridge.
