I had a working bait pile with a lot of deer activity then I added the liquid trophy rock along with a salt block and the activity shut down completely for two days now .
All the information and comments said the contrary results . Any positive feedback is appreciated.
Thanks !

How do you know that it wasn’t a neighbor flying a drone in to your spot at night and scaring the deer? It’s becoming a common thing around here with cutthroat hunters. They can stand over two miles away in some locations and wreak havoc without you ever being aware anything is going on.

I realize that baiting is legal in some states and considered ethical in many areas, however, the risks of disease spread from point source attractants far outweigh any benefits in my view. Consider abandoning the bait pile in favor of food plots or other habitat improvement projects.

By the way, 2 days is far to small of a sample to base any conclusion on when it comes to deer behavior. There are far too many factors that influence it. The biggest, at this time of year, is usually human pressure.

Something completely new following human intrusion, I wouldn’t be shocked they don’t immediately show up. Give it a week or two.

Next time, if it’s already working just stay out until it’s time to hunt.

They’ll be back, they always do.
