Poor pic, Any Ideas?

I should have taken a better picture, but does anybody have an idea on the plant in the background on the far left? It has fruit about the size of my thumb, some yellow a couple purple.
And yes I killed the Lespedeza crowding my chestnut!

I dont know if the deer will browse it. But it is a hell of a pollinator attractor where I live. The bumbles love it. Very drought tolerant as well once established. Collected some seed from mine this year at the house to try and seed into a new CP42 tract at the farm.
