Pigs are flying in Kansas, plot update.

I've leased a small parcel close to my farm for another place to hunt and the farmer allowed us to plant a small 1.3 acre test plot. I kind of figured it would be a waste of time but being stubborn my lease partner and I decided to go for it. In August we planted radishes, wheat, oats, an annual clover and I don't know what else lol. For the first time in years we got rains in August and Sept. So it would appear that our first ever attempt has been successful. Hopefully the deer enjoy this.

Those deer aren’t gonna know what that green stuff is. They’re thinking to themselves, “This is the weirdest looking wheat I’ve ever seen!” :D

First time in 5 years I am delaying a hunt as the roads are actually a bit MUDDY! High winds today and all day tomorrow so it will be fine shortly but another half inch last night and this am. I guess the plot may grow more.
