Pennington

Anyone try Pennington rack master oats? I normally just plant regular oats but the seed store had these today. I didn’t buy any because I went there for WR (which they didn’t have) but may spring for some if they get good reviews.

I did last year because my local seed store didn’t have any other kind. I couldn’t tell a difference from the normal oats I planted the year before. Also he told me he wouldn’t have any rye in for a couple weeks where I am.

I prefer oats for deer forage but WR is so hard to beat for its winter hardiness
