Nothing much going on at our place. I’m swamped with work and the kids. The clover plots are over run with grass, yellow rocket, and dandelions but the clover is still there underneath. Hopefully I have time to get it under control before the fall.

My uncle has been cutting grass with a push mower around our pond and cabin. Yesterday and today he found fawns one completely opposite ends of the property. We have always had a decent fawn recruitment but it appears to be even better this year after catching so many coyotes the last few years.

Yeah, nothing huge, but plenty of fish for the kids to catch. We are going to add bait fish this year if the hatchery/pond consultant ever gets back to us.

Some food plot pictures. The crimson clover, mammoth red clover, and wheat field is the nicest. But not far behind is the ladino, chicory plot. The ladino chicory plot is seeing the most action.
