My first prototype turkey call

I’ve been playing around with the calls you sent me. Amazing calls to say the least! I really like these 2 combos and plan on chasing a gobbler this upcoming weekend. Thanks again. IMG_5232.jpeg

Interesting change in regulations. I know some guys used to start south in Florida and work their way north as seasons open. Our youth day is on April 4th this year and the regular season opens the following Saturday. So, it sounds like your season down is LA will be about the same time as ours in VA this year.
I've read your posts with a similar interest in hunting and 3D printing. I have found a couple of 3D print files (1 for pot call and 1 for trumpet yelpers) and printed calls from them. I also make my own wooden calls (box, pot, tube, scratchbox, and strikers). Have you posted your print files on line anywhere I can access them? If not, would you be willing to share them? Thanks!

I designed them myself using FreeCad. I have not posted the projects anywhere yet. While they are plenty good enough to call in a turkey, and hopefully @1100LT20 will be able to demonstrate that, I'm still tweaking the designs. I may think about posting them on makerworld when I'm done.

Post some pics of the calls you've made. I know there are a few other turkey hunters on this forum that would enjoy them.
