I bet it was because of all the acorns and you were not at the right tree. That's what my son and I experienced when we hunted Saturday evening at the other place.

Sits like that are what it's all about, that's why we put all the habitat effort in during the off-season. Having all your deer on the property out at last light is such an interesting time it's almost a sacrilege to shoot something

This is the 8 with the big body about 15 minutes after I first saw him. About what I thought I was seeing.
This is the 10 I watched that I said would be a good one next year.
