Lime per ton?

Just called my co-op. $100 per ton, does not include cost of renting equipment. What is it in yalls neck of the woods? I also called my extension office and they rent the spreader for $125 a day.

There's a big variation in lime prices. Spread on your field in bulk is $20 a ton here, bagged Hi-mag is $96 a ton, pelletized bagged is $280 something a ton.

<40$/ton bulk spread. I think you need to recheck that price, can't imagine that high and not even spread.. And now till fall a lot of farmers spread lime so price may be a little higher. Ck in off season and may do better. Still think some mix up on that price. 30-40 spread is average here and I'm doing just under 5 ac. Love watching that truck save me from sweating.

I buy a ton of bagged pel lime for 165.00. If I get a ton of bagged barn lime it is about 130.00

Same price as above.... co-op where I was dumping 10 tons refused to sell me ag lime it had to be pellet but their spreader delivered with lime was only like $35 which is ok but still sucked. So ended up getting pellet lime through my supplier for 1/2 that price but ur pricing isn't too bad at all

35-45 a ton 3-6 tons gets you access to the wagon for the day

Good lord guys, thats cheap. Lime here is crazy expensive because it all has to be trucked in, the closest I can even get lime for a decent price is used from a food alcohol plant thats 60 miles from here. But its usually spoken for, and its extremely fine and usually kinda damp.

$28 per ton AG lime delivered and dumped in a pile in 2016. Had to be flexible on exact delivery day so that trucker only picked it up when he was up by the lime plant doing a delivery. Thus he was only charging for a one way trip. He makes a lot of trips up that way so it took like a week to get our full order.

$40/ton here and it had to be trucked over 100 miles. Check different suppliers, I got prices from $40-$100/ton from local farm suppliers where I'm at. This price was spread also. Their trucks dumped in the pasture and I loaded on their spreader truck and they spread.
