Green is beautiful!! I'm on my second JD. This one is a 68 HP, 5400 with MFWD and it is everything I need.
That being said, I bought a Land Pride (Kubota) no-till drill last year and it is a very well built piece of machinery too. Tried to get the dealer to paint it green when I ordered it but he just couldn't go there.
India built...plastic fenders and hood...we have a dealer nearby, does a lot of business. A good friend of mine bought a 55 Hp model. 2nd year it lost the tilt function on the loader and he has been using it the past 2 years without using the loader. These are the only experiences I have. I actually almost bought one before I went to Kubota. They are cheaper priced than Kubota or John Deere...I looked at Mahindra today $$$$$ but man they are tanks, any thoughts on Mahindra tractor .
The regeneration problems on these new tractors are scary. I had two Kubota dealers tell me not to buy the B3350 because they can't get the problem fix (Google Kubota B3350 regeneration problems)one said they stopped ordering that model until Kubota gets it figured out. Mahindra uses a different regeneration process the way I took it As far as prices that I got they are 3000-4000.00 more than KubotaIndia built...plastic fenders and hood...we have a dealer nearby, does a lot of business. It's overpriced...mahindra is $5k less than Kubota here apples to apples...check it out across the country...Kubota L3901 HST/with loader, finish mower, bush hog 25,700
Mahindra 2538 HST with same implements 30,169
I don't know a lot about tractors but that much money I'm trying to learn as much as possible before I make a purchase.

Why are you talking about a b series Kubota when your original question was about an L series...
Originally I was looking at the B3350 but local Kubota dealers told me about the Regenaratin problem so I was looking at L series. I did see prices of Mahindra tractors on websites across the country the all was close in price. Like I said I'm no expert on tractors just trying to get different opinions before I spend that much moneyIt's overpriced...mahindra is $5k less than Kubota here apples to apples...check it out across the country...

Mahindra and Kubuta that I looked at both had metal hoods John Deere didn'tIndia built...plastic fenders and hood...we have a dealer nearby, does a lot of business. I like that fiberglass hood on my John Deere. A tree limb fell on it that would have dented a metal hood, it only made a small scuff mark.Mahindra and Kubuta that I looked at both had metal hoods John Deere didn't

Ouch that looks painful! Were you hurt? I now of several people that have been killed or seriously hurt by throwing trees back on themselves with a loader tractor.I have had some little stuff fall on mine while I was on it as well...no dents and no torn off parts...
My tractor is used daily and also commercially...mine is tier 3 and if there was a weakness I would have found it by now...

Not at all...saved by the steel roof attached to the ARB...2 trees fell on me at the same time 1 being a dead elm and the other a live Mulberry...Had to cut the tractor out with a chainsaw...Ouch that looks painful! Thanks for the input, my next tractor may well be a Kubota. I have 2 John Deere tractors and a Kubota track loader now, they are both good machines, but they all have needed repairs, the 2014 Kubota 75SVL-2 blew a hydraulic hose under the seat at 75 hrs, talk about a major mess in your shop, but Kubota was great in fixing under warranty.I priced out both and went with a Kubatka m5660suh. The John Deere was more expensive and I felt it wasn't as well built. Also my buddy works for JD and he recommended the Kubota, he said their built like tanks and run forever. Hope this helps!
I'm glad you weren't hurt! That picture is a good sales pitch for having a roll bar on your tractor. Not at all...saved by the steel roof attached to the ARB...2 trees fell on me at the same time 1 being a dead elm and the other a live Mulberry...Had to cut the tractor out with a chainsaw...
Without that ARB I am sure I would not be here now...I see some guys that collapse them down so they can get under stuff...The problem is if you are thinking you need to do that to brushhog under trees then you should be thinking just the opposite - accidents involving trees can and will kill you!I'm glad you weren't hurt! Anybody reading this please don't work in the woods with your tractor without a roll bar. If you want to stay alive!
