jawbone age

I am saying 4.5 yo. Teeth are good as long as you are trying to determine if a deer is 1.5 or older. Once you get past tooth replacement it is all guessing based on the deer dental hygiene practices. A deer crunching acorns and chewing bark is going to have "older" teeth than a deer eating soybeans all year. If I see a pot bellyed deer like that my answer is old enough.

For VA I call 3.5 on both the jaw and pic aging. Two prob. I see Jae's age all over the place depending on diet and night time pics can be deceiving compared to a good daytime pic.
