I have a neighbor who thought a river would contain his cattle, but the herd of about 15-20 cows kept getting on my property, so I told my dog to get them, and she sent them stampeding off the property, bellering like they were being killed.

I have had this happen once or twice and finally figured out what i was doing wrong,you don't run them home you run them the other direction and then let them have to go get them

This cow does not guide. She charts her own path. That is reason she should have been loaded up

I'd call the authorities or your lawyer - dogs or cows, you are taking a big risk of a blown season letting your neighbors do this to you

It's amazing what a $100 letter from a lawyer can do to changing a neighbors behavior. No one wants to be hit in the wallet

I went through this 2 years ago

Went on 3 years prior to that

Finally said"screw it" and built new fence by myself to keep cows out

best money spent
