Gypsy moth caterpillars

Darn things are eating the leaves off all the oaks and fruit trees around my neck of the woods. Huge old Whit oak in my front yard has no leaves left on it. My fruit trees are semi dwarfs so I have been able to spray and fertilize all at the same time with the bodies of dead caterpillars. Can’t reach up into the oak.

We have a caterpillar in NE Indiana eating the oak leaves at my lake home. I can blow off my deck every 20 minutes under the trees, it's nothing but worm fertilizer. I'd love to figure out how to rid myself of them. Giant oaks, not easy to spray.
