I might add it’s been even worse since 2016. There’s more than enough data out there on the people moving out of NY So I won’t debate it. Our County has lost 6% in the last few years. I’m sure there are some Counties in and around NYC that have remained stable.
 
Depends on whether you measure in absolute numbers or as a percentage, and the time period considered.

All were states where the virus hit heavily; suppose they knew something?
