Cheap Deer Block Hanger

I've built a couple of these and they work great so far. Very cheap way to get it up off the ground and at eye level.

cool. Keep the coons off of them. I've had coons completely demolish a deer block in a couple of nights.

Wish we could have that in Illinois... great idea! Might be worth a shot for some of the trophy rock guys out there too. Saves a lot of money not having coons destroy the block.

My initial reason for building was to keep the feral hogs from destroying it. Didn't even think about coons.

I've never thought about hanging one. I know a few people that put them on top of a piece of rebar.
